Price depends on two things: how much glass your vehicle has (its body style) and which film you choose. Here is the full price list for tinting every side and rear window:

A coupe has the least glass, so it’s the least expensive. Pickups and SUVs have more glass and cost more. The jump between rows is the film: each step up blocks more heat.
How Much Does Ceramic Tint Cost?
Ceramic tint costs $360 to $699 for a full vehicle at our shop. We install three ceramic films:
- Autobahn Ceramic: $360 coupe, $449 sedan, $499 pickup or SUV. The entry point into ceramic, with noticeably better heat rejection than standard film.
- 3M Ceramic Film: $499 coupe, $599 sedan, $649 pickup or SUV. Rejects 95% of infrared heat while keeping the glass clear to see through.
- Autobahn Ceramic i3: $549 coupe, $649 sedan or pickup, $699 SUV. Our top tier. The i3+ version is rated at 74% TSER (total solar energy rejected), the highest heat-blocking automotive film available.
On a sedan, going from Autobahn Black at $299 to Autobahn Ceramic at $449 is the biggest jump in comfort for the money. How Much Is Windshield Tint?
Windshield tint is priced separately from the side and rear windows:

The windshield is the largest piece of glass on most cars and lets in the most heat, so it’s the add-on that changes how the cabin feels the most. The options are compared in our windshield tint guide.
What Changes the Price
- Body style. Coupe, sedan, pickup or SUV. More glass means more film and more labor.
- Film tier. Each step up the table blocks more heat. The difference between dyed and ceramic film is explained in ceramic vs dyed window tint, and what the heat numbers mean is in TSER explained.
- Windshield. Added on top of the full-vehicle price, $180 to $350.
- Old tint. Faded or bubbling film has to come off before new film goes on. We look at it first and quote the removal; see car window tint removal.
Anything outside the two tables, like a single window, a sunroof or an unusual vehicle, we quote when we see it.

Is the Cheapest Window Tint Worth It?
Autobahn Black at $269 is a good film: it gives privacy, cuts glare, blocks UV and looks clean. What it doesn’t do is stop much infrared heat, which is the heat you feel on your arm through the glass. If privacy and looks are the goal, it’s the right buy. If the goal is a cooler car in Texas, ceramic is what you’re paying for.
The real expense is paying twice. Cheap film from a shop without a real warranty can fade or bubble, and then it has to be removed before anything new goes on. Buying the film you actually want the first time is almost always cheaper.
Protecting the Paint Too: Ceramic Coating and PPF Prices
Many customers tint and protect the paint in the same visit. Paint protection film is quoted by coverage, because a full front costs very differently from a full car.
